Rotary Club in British Columbia Sponsors Unique Fundraiser for End Polio Now

The Vancouver Sunrise club has come up with a unique photo contest that supports Rotary’s End Polio Now.

The photo contest, Facing Challenges, celebrates the efforts of Rotarians around the world to eradicate polio. Here’s how it works:

For a fee, participants upload a photo or photos that demonstrate the theme of Facing Challenges. The contest is open to amateur photographers and the photos are to be fully owned by the photographer.

The contest is decided by People’s Choice voting. Submitted photos will appear online and visitors to the website will vote for favorites.

The winning photograph will appear on the cover of the “Facing Challenges” book that will be published at the conclusion of the contest. Second and Third prize photos will also be published along with 36 additional runners-up.
