Centennial Project, the construction of
a Health Clinic in the village of Era Ulo, East
Timor.
Tool purchased for
Vocational Training program in East Timor. Young men are being
taught carpentry skills.
Centennial Twin Club
(Rotary Club of Turramurra - Australia) Shipped complete
optometry suite to a needy clinic in Malaysia.
Support of a clean water
project for village in Rwanda in cooperation with
Engineers Without Borders.
Literacy project, Ranfurly
Library Book Aid, providing books to needy schools and libraries
in poor communities in Pacific island countries.
Sponsorship of two young people to
work on a track-building team on the Continental Divide Trail in
Colorado. Teams of 10 young people, each with a leader, undertake
this task during the summer. It builds the track and it builds
character.
Participated in an Advanced RYLA pilot project in D9750.
Sponsorship of first Advanced RYLA in USA, in D5450.
Formed Contact Club
("sister" club) relationship with the Rotary Club of Dili, East
Timor.
Individual member projects include hospice visitation, student mentoring, aged care
volunteering, coordination of leadership workshops, Board leadership
of a Toronto youth program, volunteer as Nurse Practitioner at Free
Clinic, providing bike helmet education and fitting to children,
guest speaking at Rotary clubs and tasks directly associated with
club projects.
Continue to maintain and improve
Rotary eClub One website, with a robust make-up program and
continuous efforts to improve functionality and visitor friendly
navigation. |

clubs of America. This year is no different and our Annual
Dinner will be at one of the most prestigious private clubs
in California. This year The club rules
prevent us from publicizing its name.
Only Rotarians
and their guests who accept our invitation will be advised
of its name and street address in Los Angeles, CA.
Space is
limited to the first 90 people.
