Celebrating 22 Years - Members from 23 Countries

Rotary International Theme:

In July, Rotary observes Maternal and Child Health Month, providing a chance to assess the global status of maternal and child health. Maternal and Child Health is a significant global issue. It's a time to recognize Rotary members' efforts in tackling these issues at the community level and to evaluate our collective impact on health systems.

President’s message

Welcome to Rotary eClub One

Thank you for taking the time to check out our website. As a member you can take part in our forums, keep up to date with what is happening in our club, review our reports on projects and fundraising activities, familiarise yourself with our members from around the world and enjoy our photo album of club activities. If this is your first time or you are a returning visitor, you are very welcome. Rotary eClub One was the first Rotary eClub in the world and on 4th January 2024 we were delighted to be able to celebrate our 22nd anniversary. From those early days until now we have grown into 23 countries with 74 members. It is especially pleasing that our Charter President Dr. John Minter remains an active and dedicated member today.

The recent Rotary International Convention in Singapore proved to be a very exciting and fruitful experience for our members who were able to attend this year. As a club we had the opportunity to have a booth in the House of Friendship, where we were so excited to connect with Rotarians from all around the world. We were thrilled to showcase our projects to the attendees, many of whom were eager to learn more about our club's work and explore potential opportunities for collaboration.

We felt very honoured to have our District 5450 Governor Jim Johnson address us at our Annual Dinner. Our special guest speaker on the night was Victoria Porter (President of the E Club of Outback Australia, recipient of the Avenues of Service Award (RI level), and Founder of Jifunze International). Victoria gave us a very meaningful presentation on the impact that Rotary eClub One and many other clubs are having through her work in Kenya. Our eClub One members returned from the convention feeling energized and inspired, with a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper understanding of the global reach and impact of the Rotary movement. The connections made and the insights gained will undoubtedly pave the way for exciting new opportunities in the days and months ahead. Making those face-to-face connections is very special to us but for now its back to connecting online and having individual members meet up and share special times as they travel around the world. Rotary eClub One is a live example of how a diverse group of people with so many different cultural backgrounds can practice and promote peace through our ability to connect online and make good things happen. Thank you for visiting our website, please check back again soon.
